What is meant by Web 2.0? I'd say it is what/where we choose to go and share information once we are able to use the internet. What is Web 2.0? the 2nd generation of the world wide web, where we can use applications on the internet which we choose to communicate with and share information with others. where we can read/write/share. How would I define Web 2.0? in my own words i would say that it is what we use on the internet, and how we can share information with others on it.
Example: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google+, Youtube, Wikis and wiki forums.
1. Facebook could be used so everyone is able to join a created page for a class where questions and assignments can be given.
2. Twitter could be used in a case where the students in the group need instant feedback, or can get feedback from others on.
3. Tumblr could be used to share other forms of media with others in a different way.
4. Google+ much the same as the others but you can organize students into groups, and be able to monitor and give input on what they are doing.
5. Youtube could be used for a class where they can upload video projects to a class channel and be available for students to watch from anywhere.
6. Wikis can be used to organize group projects more effectively and have everyone work on it together, and be able to add inputs to the task.
most of these application fall into the creating and applying categories in the new Digital Bloom's taxonomy.
